Installing a new sink is easy and fast which will result in a huge difference inside your kitchen. 1. Firstly, the hole where the basin will be placed must be prepared first. If there is already a hole, ensure that the area around the hole is cleaned. Get the surface cleaned as well as dry. Get any leftover caulk scraped, and ensure that the surface is dry & clean.

2. Get holes drilled in all 4 corners on the cut line’s corners. The holes are better to be big enough that will accommodate the jigsaw inside it. Get a cut made along the bottom and top of the hole using your jigsaw. Get a scrap piece screwed for making sure the counter will not crack.

5. Get your sink placed upside down over the hole. Get the sink’s lip lined using your silicone caulk/ plumber’s putty and ensuring that the coverage is even all the way around the lip. Get the sink flipped over and get it seated in the hole. Get any mounting brackets attached. If there is excess caulk which has been squeezed out from under the lip, get it removed using a damp, clean cloth.
